Can this ring be resized to a 9? It is currently a 6.

I really like this ring. Unfortunately it's a size 6. I am looking to have it be a least a size 9. Anyone think it can be done without any complications?

If you owned it and needed it sized to 9, I imagine it could be done, but there would be risk involved. I think it might become complicated or near impossible to size it that much larger without a special effort and a lot of luck. I would advise against buying trouble. It will not be an easy sizing job.

I wouldn't size that ring. I'd be afraid it would mess with its integrity and then you'd lose stones.

Absolutely not! If you sent it to me to do I would return it undone. When you try to expand the ring that far the channels are going to bear down on the stones and most likely chip or break several of them.

Even could they do it somehow, you are going to end up with a weird shaped shank as they will have to build all the extra room into the bottom of the shank without widening the top, so it will not fit comfortably on your finger and will look just silly when you take it off.

All of this is before we even talk about the poor quality of the channel work and the setting work. If you could wear it as is, it is well worth the money, but needing to size it more than 1/2 size makes it a WALK AWAY ring.
