Can this be the same diamond?

I''m working with ERD and Mark T is sending a diamond to a local appraiser for me to review. Today, doing another pricescope search I happen to find what appears to be the exact same diamond, but only at one specific vendor.

The GIA cert I received is dated Oct 10, 2005:
- Square Modified Brilliant
- 5.43 x 5.38 x 3.89
- 1.01 Carat
- Depth: 72.3
- Table: 70
- Girdle: Slightly Thick - Thick
- Cutlet: None
- Polish: Ex
- Symmetry: VG
- Clarity: VS2
- Color: G
- Flourescence: None

What are the chances this isn''t the exact same diamond? The reason I''m curious is because the icestore price is less. Does Mark pricematch?

i didn''t look at the links, but there is a very good chance that it is the same stone. here are a couple of articles on the subject.

I''ve actually come across a lot of diamonds at multiple vendors while doing searches. Some are lower than others, but some do offer price matching. I''d just contact Mark and see what he says.
