Can this be custom made?

I saw this vintage ring on a site today that I really liked. It would be cool to get a different stone in it though. Is there anyone out there that can custom make a ring like this with a few ''changes''?

The photo''s are excellent and yes, it should not be hard to find a jeweller to custom make it.

I will not do it for you (I do not tout here) but I can estimate that you should expect to pay between $1,600 and $2,500 for an entirely hand fabricated piece in Platinum.

Not meaaning to contradict but... having been pricing this stuff so recently. Hand fabricated will proabably cost you at least 3K. CAD and cast... around 1800-2200ish in platinum. It''s very nice. But I''d ask Topazery who the maker is, and see if that maker does modifications. Topazery won''t sell semi mounts (I''ve asked)... so they may not have a problem letting you know who the maker of the ring is. It''s always worth asking.

I can''t give expert advice. However, I would think you could definitely have it redone. I would do research though to find someone whom you have actually seen their work. As well as have recommendations that you can check into from past customers.I personally sure do LOVE IT! Keep us posted what you find out and if you are going to go ahead and have it recreated with our own flair added. I would be highly interested in seeing the finished product!
