OK here we go. The price is right i think on this one. I can get it for $6500. Im sure there are flaws somewhere but want to know where and if it is worth spending 2 more thousand dollars for better. Can anyone help?

Its a GIA 1.51CT

Color:H
Cut: Good
Polish EX
Sym Very Good
Depth 63.2
Table 57
Crown Angle 36
Pavililion Angle 40.4
SI2 / Eye clean

HCAFactor Grade
Light Return: Excellent
Fire: Excellent
Scintillation: Excellent
Spread or diameter for weight: Good
Total Visual Performance 1.1 - Excellent

Any magnified pictures to show that it is indeed eye clean? Where are the inclusions and what type is it (or are they)?

Any Idealscope pictures? The HCA is just an elimination tool so I'd prefer to have another confirmation to back it up.

At 63% depth, it is a little bit deep but I don't consider it a deal breaker. Also the table is a bit large at 57%, but again, I don't consider it a deal breaker, because there are some very lovely stones within these parameters.

Any information on the girdle thickness?

Otherwise, I see no red flags.

I Found the stone at a local jewlery store. I looked eyeclean to me. I can only see the inclusions with the loop. I am ordering an ideal scope to make sure of the light return. Can you tell why it only received a "good" cut by GIA .. is it because its deep?

Do you like fire better than white light return? I ask because with the larger crown angle this stone is likely to show more colored light return versus bright white light return. This is a preference thing, but I thought I would mention it.

It''s likely going to appear smaller than a typical 1.5 ct. stone because of the depth. You did not list the diameter measurement. It should be 7.4mm. The price is good, but you know what they say...you get what you pay for.

From the numbers although some could be improved, it looks to be in FIC ( firey ideal cut) range and may be worth investigating for that reason, as many actively seek out this type of diamond.
