Can Princesses Have Cut Corners?

An associate at Long''s Jewelers in Braintree, MA told me yesterday that they are now making Princess Cuts with clipped corners. She didn''t have any for me to look at (?) but could she mean a Radiant? I would think I would have heard some buzz about this on PS.... Is this true - anybody?

I am not even sure if you could see it without a microscope.

The corners of the princess get a very small facet, in order to make them less prone to chipping. We do it on our princess-cuts, but the facet is so small, that one needs to be a very experienced louper to see it with a 10x-loupe.
