I don't care for any of the still-viable candidates.
(Of course in November I'll still vote for the Dem, though steps from the grave and slipping on a banana peel.) :nono:
Dogshit is better than tRump.

I'd rather use my vote to increase Pete's numbers.
Maybe it will help when he's considered for VP, or later runs for house or senate.

IMO this guy still has a very bright future, and is going to do a lot of good for for America.
I like a person with good character, and an outstanding mind.

I’m sure you CAN vote for him, as it’s too late for his name to be taken off the ballots. And you might help send a message that he could pull in some voters as a VP candidate on Biden‘s or Sander’s ticket. But at the end of the day, if your goal is to get Trump out of office, it seems the best choice would be to vote for whoever the polls say could beat Trump as the Democratic nominee. And I think that’s Biden.

Thanks.
I'll hold my nose and vote for the Dem candidate in Nov, whoever that is - I have no preference.
But since Pete was the only candidate I liked I think I'll pull the ever for him tomorrow.

No matter whom I vote for tomorrow the Dems will have a candidate in Nov for me to vote for, so I see no point in supporting any of the ones I don't care for tomorrow, when I could possibly support one I do.
Is my reasoning or understand of the system flawed?

I’m no expert, but Pete dropping out should help Biden get more delegates since they’re both moderates. Unless enough people fail to vote for Biden by voting for Pete, which would help Bernie. And I doubt Bernie could beat Trump. To me it’s all about being practical to get the wanted result in November.

Good point.

I agree Bernie is less likely than Biden to beat tRump.
So, I'll hold my nose tomorrow and vote for Biden.

Sorry Pete. :(2
Beating tRump is the priority ... and Boring Biden :snore: has a better chance of doing that than that wacko socialist nutjob having heart attacks.
I wish Bernie was the one who dropped out.

Which reminds me ...
How does our Constitution address a nominated person for a major party dying between the nomination and the election?
Does the candidate who came in second get the nomination?
Do they hold a new primary?

Serious question.

I think Pete's delegates will go to Biden since he endorsed him if that makes it any better for you.

That’s the choice I’m making too, Kenny. If there’s one thing I hope everyone learned from the 2016 elections, it’s to take that voting privilege very, very seriously - at every level and every step.

Biden may forget to vote for himself.

I think Bernie has a very real chance to beat Trump. I think Pete and Klobuchar dropping out was purposeful so those votes go to Biden. Bernie is a movement of followers. A lot like Trump had in 2016 and still has now.

Biden is establishment politics. He needs to stand on his own and stop referencing Obama. Stand on your own for what you can do, not what you did. Best thing he could do is pick someone like Mayor Pete for his VP.

Voting Biden for sure because I am scared as hell for what Bernie could do!

I am very uncomfortable when the pendulum swings from one extreme end to the other extreme end. I don't like how things are currently playing out but I'd rather vote for Biden than Bernie. Where the heck are all the moderates GDI!

Not necessarily. Delegate allocation rules vary by state, and there are also “winner take all” states.

I’m not throwing away my vote - to paraphrase Hamilton - by voting for someone who’s already withdrawn from the race.

Yeah, so I voted for Biden, our best chance to beat tRump.

The bored people in line really got a kick out of Bibi. :lol-2:

The poll worker didn't bat an eye, but kept staring down at the little head sticking out of my collar.

You did good. It's a shame we don't have ranked choice ballots. Then you could cast your vote for the candidate you really want, and if he or she drops out, it would go to your second choice.
