Can I resize the ring anywhere?

The engagement ring I bought from a PS vendor is a tiny bit large and I would like to get it sized down a little (.5 size or less). Instead of shipping it back and forth, can''t I just go to a local jeweler and get it done? Does it matter that the ring has 10 channel set diamonds (in 18k White Gold)?
I''d appreciate any recommendations in the King of Prussia / Philadelphia area or what i should ask and look out for. Ballpark figure on this cost?
