Here''s the skinny: FI lost his job just over a month ago. We are getting married in July. When he lost his job, we lost about 80% of our income. He''s a crazy $ saver, so we''d be fine for a while if he couldn''t find anything.
He has an absolutely AMAZING job opportunity he''s interviewing for tomorrow. He works in broadcast television sales management. It''s cut-throat and competitive. If he got this job it would be a huge boost for his career. We''d have to sell our house and move five hours away to a much bigger market, but for this kind of an opportunity, we''d move just about anywhere.
Having this happen just before the wedding has added quite a bit of stress. My parents are paying for the majority of it, but FI and I are also contributing a lot and everything is up in the air. I know there''s never a good time to lose your job, but it really blows when it happens before your wedding.
Do you think you could spare some of that amazing PS dust for his interview tomorrow? I''ve seen it in action in other threads and it seems to be some powerful stuff.
