Can anyone recomm. sites High Quality Non-Designer Settings?

I would love to find high quality (nice workmanship, good quality stones G or better) settings.
I have seen pretty much all of the designer settings that everyone has. Does anyone know of any off-the-beaten track
websites full of beautiful settings???

I'd check out Victor Canera, Leon Mege and Steven Kirsch. All do excellent work.

Victor Canera, Leon Mege and Steven Kirsch focus on hand made custom work, but they do have a small number of premade pieces (not settings, but entire jewelry pieces).

Engagement Rings Direct, Brian Gavin Diamonds, and WhiteFlash are often recommended here for their in-house settings. Their settings are not hand made.

If you give us your general location, we can try to recommend jewelers near you. For example, near DC, Hunt Country Jewelers and Quest Jewelers have their following. They both have premade and custom settings.

An alternative is something like the Beverley K line. I know this is still technically a "designer" line, but it is much more affordable than Tacori, and shares the same vintage look. Pearlman Jeweler's carries them, and a lot of other high quality brands that are reasonably priced. The easiest thing to do is to email Pearlman's and someone will get back to you with suggestions.

Well, I can't really think of a ready made lime that isn't labeled that i would say is excellemt quality. For designs that aren't labeled, well you are looking at custom. What price range are you looking at? There might be a ready made designer that meets all your requirements...

Alot of people have had good experiences with Eternity Diamonds and their settings: www.eternitydiamonds.com

They have tons of settings to choose from, plus the "try it for free" program where you can have a replica of the setting you're interested in sent to you home to see before you purchase it for real. What a great idea!!!
