Can anyone put a name to this type of cushion?

I am looking at this stone, but I'm having trouble articulating what type of faceting this is so I can see if the vendor can get me one similar that is either larger or whiter (this one is a J.)

To me, it seems lovely, but can any cushion experts tell me if this is one of those weird leaky faceting patterns or if this is a pattern I should continue to investigate if I like it? The darkness under the table in the photo worries me a little, but the faceting is just so interesting. The H&A cushions don't really do it for me, too much like a round, and I am not nuts about the vintage cushions either. This is the first cushion style I've liked. I've requested an ASET but it will be several days before that shows up.

Cushion experts please advise?

Looks like an 8-main cushion brilliant diamond. You're right in that cushions have unique facet patterns and this is one of the more desirable facet patterns since it is closet to the Tiffany Novo diamond. I personally love it, but my fiance (who wears the ring) prefers the 4 main cushion modified pattern more. I presented her with both options and we went with what she likes, which also had the brightest ASET as well - way brighter than any 8 main we saw. So it's a matter of personal preference.

As with any cushion facet patterns, there are some really ugly 8 mains out there as well. You have to judge for yourself by either seeing in person, seeing a video or having at least photos & an ASET. The one you've identified looks like it may be a bit mushy under a 58-59% table but has a lovely crown.

The dimensions as far as percentages go for this particular stone are:

Depth %: 67.9
Table %: 55

Looks like great numbers on the table & depth (Mine is a 61% table and 67.8% depth). That should give you an honest spread for the carat weight. Let's hope that ASET comes back nice! Color is a personal preference and I've hoped you've had the chance to look at J-color stones to see that it's not too warm. Keep in mind that it may be warmer than any pave or sidestones on the setting if you have them.
