I girlfriend has mentioned to me that she liked the flanders cut, but I was looking at radiant cuts. They are easier to find (at least for me) Can anyone tell me what the differences are.

Thanks

Also does the diamond below look good. It''s a radiant cut, and it''s around $20k

Carat weight: 2.09
Cut: Very Good
Color: G
Clarity: VVS2
Depth %: 62.7%
Table %: 74%
Symmetry: Good
Polish: Very good
Girdle: Very thin to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: Medium blue
Measurements: 7.71x7.46x4.68 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.03

Jonathan over at www.goodoldgold.com sells the Flanders cut. The facet structure is completely different than that of a Radiant cut diamond, we''re not in the store today or I''d post a plotting diagram of a Radiant and a Flanders for you, but here''s a picture of a Flanders so that you have a point of reference. Happy Hunting!
