CAN ANYONE HELP??? IS THIS BRWNIDGURL5511 RING?

Hi everyone. this is my second thread and once again i am looking for help. my last post (HELP WITH HALO SETTING!)
i was asking about a ring which i will post. my question was how big the pointers was around the halo, i was saying i was having 2.5 pointers but i was told they were much smaller. i somehow got onto a thread from a girl named brwnidgurl511. now i am really excited to have found that thread since it has exactly all the details i need for my halo but there are no pics. i think she has taken them down. it all sounds about right but i dont want my jeweller to go ahead if its the wrong ring!!!
does anyone remember this name and pics?????
more importantly..... does the name and ring belong to the same person?

Hi Talo, I''m not familiar which actual thread you''re referring to- but what I can suggest is that with regards to the pics in her thread, I''m not sure but I think PS regulators may take down pics from older threads to save space? Thats when it looks like a broken link or whatever in place of all the pics. I''m probably wrong, but perhaps if you contact them they will be able to steer you in the right direction for that answer?

If so, I would guess that each stone on the halo is smaller than a 1 pointer since it looks like there are more than 20 stones in the halo.

at one time you didn''t have to upload pics on to PS you could just copy images from elsewhere on the internet. if you see x''s where the pics are, they most likey were not uploaded, just copied and pasted and PS changed the format a while back and no longer hosts outside images and that''s why they aren''t showing up.

re: the setting, I would seriously consider just buying that Tacori setting if you love it so much. We have seen so many custom projects lead to disappointment when the outcome isn''t exactly the same or as expected. I''m all for custom if you just cannot find something out there that''s exact, but that tacori is dainty, dainty, I''ve seen it and really wouldn''t trust anyone to replicate it. with the labor involved i''d doubt the price difference b/t the real deal and custom is going to be great. if you''re really set on custom, then do know those stones are definitely less than 1 pointers.

I completely agree with Mrs. Salvo, and I have to say that I think that setting is absolutely GORGEOUS as well. It makes me want to remount my solitaire! I''m not kidding! Amazing ring. How much does that Tacori setting cost? Talo, if you are going to copy the Tacori,just get the Tacori. Your jeweler can get it in for you, right?

Thankyou for clearing that up Mrs, I''ve often wondered why some pics show and others don''t - its kinds frustrating when your really keen to see some pics in a certain thread!
Also talo I have to agree, if you don''t dislike anything about this tacori just get the real deal, its totallt gorgeous and I love the daintiness of the halo.

I just wanted to clarify that the reason PS gets

where the pics should be is that use to be links to the images hosted on other places.
The

's mean that the image link is broken. This usually happens because the hosting site has changed or the images have been moved.

To reduce the number of broken links, keep the forum clean of the broken link and more enjoyable is the reason PS has changed the format and is requesting everyone to upload their images.

Keep in mind there are diamonds in the basket. So the CTW is for the WHOLE setting, not the halo alone. So actually those little diamonds are smaller than you'd think.

Is there a reason you don't want the original tacori? You won't be happy with a repro if you love the original. It's not an easy setting to replicate.

thanks everyone with all your help.
well... i do like the original but i was going to change the basket and just have it standing on four prongs instead of how ever many the original is so that you can see more of the diamond from the side and bottom.
does anyone no if solomans send to australia and what happens if not happy or is damaged? do i keep sending back to usa for repirs if its still under waranty?

Goodoldgold and niceice are both tacori dealers so if you decide you want it, I'd just order it from one of them.
