Can anyone advise about FCD melee

I am going to be buying FCD melee for a ring reset and I'm considering going with Langerman Diamonds as they are one of the few places that seem to have the size and color variety I'm seeking. My research has been scattered but I feel their prices are high. I was going to purchase a .02 carat diamond as a preview and shipping alone was $150. I just don't see it being an option considering how expensive this has already ended up being.

I also looked at Africa Gems, but not liking the current available colors.

I just added a .02 colored stone to my cart and shipping was $30. Where are you shipping too? If you are doing a reset
why dont you let whoever is making the reset source the melee?

Ditto. They should be able to get a better price as part of the trade, and if anything happens to the melee, it is their responsibility. It is difficult to insure loose diamonds as a private party, and if you have a bunch of FCD melee, they could amount to quite a bit of money.

Hi, thanks for your response. I am in the US and I added a "canary" .02 carat diamond and a fancy medium pink .02 carat and it told me shipping would be $150. And for just one diamond, shipping is $50. I don't know if it depends on what you're getting, but if it varies, it wasn't $30 for me.

I want to preview the color of the diamonds on my white gold jewelry before deciding if maybe yellow or pink gold would look better. I tend to be very tactile and indecisive and want to look everything over before deciding. If no one has any other reputable sources to recommend I will go with Langerman, but I just wanted to see if there were other options.

Excellent something like this seems to be just what I'm looking for as I was having a hard time finding anything in colored diamonds not set in platinum. I like platinum, but for warm diamonds I thought warm colors of gold would mesh better. Thanks.
