I recently bought a diamond ring which is due for delivery in 2 weeks! Was just wondering if anyone can tell me if the diamond I have selected is any good.

It's GIA certificated
0.40 carat
G colour
VS1 clarity
Excellent cut
Very good symmetry
Very good polish
Medium blue fluorescence

Now heres the thing, it has a twinning wisp, indented natural, feather and pinpoint.
As a VS1 it is eye clean.

What do you think?

The details you've provided make it hard for anyone to give an informed opinion.

You'd need to provide the measurements, at the bare minimum, but ideally if you can provide the report or report number, you will get a substantially better response.

Best of luck!

Ah ok thank you! The report number is 1179589679

Decent HCA, so it would definitely be worth further inspection. I believe it would be closer to a 60/60 stone (which isn't a bad thing):

Others will be able to give you more details!

Thank you so much! Do you think the clarity characteristics are any cause for concern?

It is a VS1 so you should not
See any inclusions in the stone. All the
Numbers indicate that it should be nice. An
Idealscope would give us more info if you
Can get one.

Forgive me but I'm new to all of this, what is an idealscope?

Click this link for an explanation of the ideal-scope. It is a tool that generates a diagnostic image, which can tell a lot of information about the quality and performance of a diamond. Ideal-scope images are very useful for evaluating diamonds to be purchased on the internet, so they are used a lot on this forum.
