Can any ring be resized?

Hello all!

I understand some conventional metals cannot be resized. However, I am asking about a platinum ring. I will post a photo so you can see, I am not worried about diamond side stone loss either. I am hoping to make it a bit smaller.

Good idea! I would like it a whole size smaller. Would this work?
