Can an Instagram guru help a tech dummy out?

Let me confess up front I'm not the most tech savvy person in the room, but I'm trying to use Instagram to get a little exposure for my vintage business. I was doing OK with posting... until yesterday. Usually I put up a picture using my phone and then got in and edit the post to add info on my computer (item description, etc.). Now the picture posts fine but when I got in there the circle in the upper right hand corner just spins. I've managed to type a caption in on my phone so there is some info there, but it's a cumbersome process and I can't get the rest of the stuff in there I normally post. I've cleared the cache and logged out and back in. Any other ideas? I did change the name on my profile between the last time this worked ok and now (adding "vintage" at the end of my handle) and I wonder if that could have mucked it up somehow... ?

Sometimes IG just glitches and I have to uninstall the app from my phone and reinstall it. It’s a pain in the neck but always corrects any issues for me.
