Can a pave diamond pendant be redone?

Hi my friend was given a diamond Playboy bunny head necklace when she was named Playmate of the month.I think it''s a 14K or 18k white diamond pave with a sapphire eye pendant. She was thinking about having redone with pink diamonds. Can that be done or not?

Yes, it can be done but it may end up being quite a task. It''s often easier to start over with a new piece. If you can find out who the original manufacturer of the piece is, they may be the best approach. Does it have a manufactuers mark on it?

why tamper with it ? It would be easier and probably cheaper to start over and make a copy. Those pink diamonds will be 90% of the cost anyway.
