I just looked through the stationery thread and love your place cards and how you set them up on the table. I'm looking for place cards right now and I was wondering whether you'd be willing to tell me where you got yours?

Sorry-just saw this! My place cards are from Michael's and they're Martha Stewart.

For the flat cards that said the table numbers, I got a sticker type card (also Martha Stewart and obviously the same line) and put it on thick silver card stock. I got the sticker cards from Wal-Mart, I think, but they may have those at Michael's too. Of course you could just glue the regular cards down for the same effect, though.

ETA forgot to add that each pack comes with different outlines. I just mixed them up but you could use all the same style outlines for each table if you wanted.

Hi thing2, thank you for the help! I appreciate it. I am not near a Michael's at the moment, alas. But, I've started to look for similar cards on etsy and think I will get some there. Thanks a lot, your post really helped me figure out how to do my escort cards.

No problem. Do you know anyone near a Michael's who could get them for you?

I think they may have them at Wal-Mart too since I got the sticker ones there. Good luck-I had such a hard time finding cards I liked that weren't ugly/cheap looking and these definitely fit the bill! I never checked Etsy though, and there is always gorgeous stuff on there!
