Selected: 62.5% depth, 57% table, 35.5° crown angle, 41° pavilion angleThat stone looks like it's slightly less than a 60/60 diamond so potentially more brilliance than fire. But I can't get a HCA score for it. HCA is telling me that the stone may have a dangerously thin girdle based on the measurements in that EGL Canada report.
Hmm, those numbers don't add up then on the report. EGL Canada give a total depth of 62.5% but yet when one adds up the pavillion, crown and girdle %'ges, you get something less than 60%. On most other reports I've seen, at least when you add up the girdle, crown and pavillion percentages, one gets at least within ballpark (say within 0.2%) of the total depth as reported.
what do you think a fair price would be to take a chance on this new stone.
