Hi Haven, this is a premature question, because I''m not even engaged yet, but I will be within the next 6-8 months I think, and am starting my first year of grad school this Fall. I started thinking about how to manage my time and workload while planning a wedding, and saw your post from : https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/engagement-length.104146/ regarding engagement lenth... here''s what you said:
" We were engaged in September 2007 and married in July 2008, so we had a ten month engagement. I really don''t understand why anyone would need more than nine months to plan a wedding.

In fact, I taught full-time, attended graduate school at night 2 nights/week for four hours each night, was the head coach of the speech team (HUGE amounts of after-school practices, all-day Saturday tourneys, etc), shopped for and bought a new house, and planned and chaperoned a 2 week trip to Greece with 40 high school students ALL during our ten month engagement.
It was a piece of cake."

My question is... HOW did you do it?! I am in awe. Would love to know how you organized everything, including what sort of charts/notes you had to take, and what timelines did you form.... lol. We must know your secret!
