calling GYPSY!! re: sapphire search

hiya gypsy!

i saw your post in the pre-loved forum looking for a sapphire. i was going through my favorites folder and came across this http://www.ajsgem.com/sapphire/blue-sapphire/blue-sapphire-2.11-carats.html.. it's close in some ways to what you wanted (ceylon, touch of purple if pics are accurate, somewhat close to size - 8x6 instead of 8x10, heat treated only, 2100 asking price) but it's a pear shape and not preloved.

anyway, not sure how willing you are to consider other options, but i thought maybe it was worth sharing *just in case*.

WOW. That's is exactly what I want in terms of color and size. THANKS SO MUCH HONEY. I don't care if it's preloved or new. But for a colored stone ring I don't care for pears on my hands. I had one and made it into a pendant. Which is weird because I like pear diamond rings.

I really appreciate you hunting this up for me though. A LOT.

you're welcome! i'm glad it wasn't totally out in left field - i debated even posting it because i know practically nothing about colored stones and thought maybe i was waaaay off. anyway, i hope you find your perfect sapph soon.... they are my absolute favorite gem, after diamonds of course!
