I''m having a heck of a time finding shoes to go with my dress. And in order to get my dress hemmed to the proper length, I need to figure out the height my shoes will be, and I''d love to have the actual shoes to bring in so that the length is perfect!

I originally ordered these and in my mind, no shoes can be as perfect as these. Unfortunately, they are pretty uncomfortable and hard to walk in (NOT used to 4" heels...), not to mention that I''m afraid I''ll get stuck in the brick courtyard and plank boardwalk type floors (with nice size gaps...) that are all around my venue. I just don''t want to be uncomfortable on my wedding day, nor have to worry about walking a certain way to avoid getting stuck in the floor...

Today I went on a shoe mission. Nordstrom, Macy''s, JC Penny, DSW, and a few other random shoe stores in my area. I found NOTHING!

Idealy, my shoes would be a dusty pink color, or maaaaybe a light gold like my dress, or perhaps a dark satiny red. I also LOVE the rosette detail in the original shoes since my dress has the same thing. I would also like them to either be wedges or with a thicker heel. Flats are possible... But I''d like to have at least SOME height. I''m a size 9 1/2 or 10. I''d like to keep them under $100 but could possible make a little bit of an exception for the right shoes.

Help!!!

I have these shoes in pink but you could get them dyed any color they are comfortable and not very high.

Oooohhhh Pearl,

this really IS a hard request - i''ve been looking online, and i can''t find much that isn''t thin in the heel!!!! these are sooooo pretty, but they are nearly $300 and i know you said you''d like to stay around $100....Anyway, they are kate spade and they are a wedge. White satin, which i think is dyeable, so you could dye them your dusty rose color....

i''ll keep looking for you!

These are exactly the ones I thought about when you mentioned rosettes. They look dark on Zappos, but look more gold on the Seychelles website. They might be able to be dyed red either way.

These are not what you want (they are stilettos) and far over budget, but absolutely beautiful.

I''m so sorry your original pick didn''t work out for you -- they do look like they were made for your dress!

Some more for your consideration --

Pink but with skinny heels:

Pearl,

I was looking online for shoes for myself and I keep thinking about your shoe hunt....this wedding shoe website http://www.bellissimabridalshoes.com has some very nice dyeable shoes, and a couple of the styles are wedges. I''m not sure how you feel about dyeables, but it might give you some other options in terms of finding everything you want in a shoe, and you could dye them a dusty pink OR a deep red.

I think i am going to going to end up in a dyeable b/c my bridesmaids are wearing a deep teal blue, and i think i am going to have my shoes dyed to match them. While looking, i found these following and thought of you...if they''re not your thing, i totally understand. I just was keeping my eyes out for you.

1. wedge heel, sparkly on the front.. http://www.bellissimabridalshoes.com/product/021233.shtml

I thought this looked really sturdy, and you''ll likely only see the front/toe area, which is pretty...

Anywhoo, just thought i''d throw that out there in case these were appealing to you at all, and all of them are less than $100!
