I was wondering how you came about your beautiful EGL oval stone. My b/f picked out a 1.51 carat oval EGL and I am in need of reassurance since EGL doesn''t get much praise on PS.

Was your diamond EGL-USA or an out of country EGL cert ?

Like I said in the subject text your ring is outstanding and one of my absolute favorites! I just found that it was an EGL when doing some topic searches.

I''m bumping this for you.

Ephemery did exactly what I''d suggest you do--take it to a good independent appraiser and make sure it matches with the specs on the EGL certificate. EGL certs. are often out on colour and clarity. Find out what you''re really looking at. You don''t have to have a GIA cert. or anything as long as you know exactly what you''ve got. Good luck.
