Have you any pics of your stunning Sholdt solitaire setting yet? Any pics at all would be great - I simply love this setting and I remember you had an amazing stone!!!
Ohhhhh! That''s great! I have a 1.71 stone that I have had in a temporary setting for ages now (6 prong, Tiff-style) and with two little children I have found that the prongs are not that practical....plus, I have adored the Sholdt setting after seeing heyeliza''s photos a while ago. I have a five-stone band, a la kcoursolle, which I believe you also have (I''m not stalking you, honest!
) and am loving the low set diamonds. I live in the UK and my local jeweller is amazing - he basically custom makes anything, I showed him a photo of kcoursolle''s 5-stone band and he did a fantastic job for me! Thanks so much for posting and I cannot wait to see photos of your gorgeous ring!
WOW, WOW, WOW Elle!!!!!!!! It is simply stunning - the setting just really shows off the stone (which BTW is gorgeous
) I really do love it from every angle.....I have given my jeweller the stone and pics (taken from Sholdt website) so here''s hoping he can work his magic - I think I will find it a bit weird not having my prong-set ring at first, but I really do prefer the fluidity and whole look of the semi bezel - congratulations on a simply stunning ring!
I am also really liking the band that you are wearing with it, I actually have a 3mm etoile ring (not Tiffany as their''s is 4mm and I found it a bit too thick) I think that will compliment it and should sit nicely with the setting (I hope!!!!
) Thanks again for the wonderful photos and put that baby on ''Show me the ring''!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will post some fire shots in "show me the ring" when i''m finally able to take some.
Any reason why you''re having your jeweler make it instead of Sholdt? I purchased it through Pearlmans (but sent it to Sholdt directly) and thought the price for the ring in platinum was quite good.
Hi Elle, I''m in the UK so I wasn''t sure about shipping/insurance etc and my jeweller did such a fab job with the 5-stone ring that I felt it would be easier for him to custom make this ring as well
