Hi Beebrisk---

I see that you got a similar setting as the one I am interested in having ERD make. I was wondering if you wouldn''t mind tell telling me approximately how much your setting was. I am not sure if this is in poor taste or not, given the many details we share and discuss on Pricescope. If it is, please forgive me and immediately disregard the question. Also, how long was the process from start to finish.

I was just looking at your CADS...beautiful!

Seems tho, that your ring is actually quite different than mine, so I don''t think they will be of equal cost. I can tell you my setting was a bit under $2K, but it seems yours is much heavier on the pave and is far more "substantial" all around.

I suspect your ring will be much heavier in weight than mine, and with the price of Platinum and Gold these days, that alone can make a big difference in the cost of the setting.

The whole process took about 2-1/2 months, but I think that''s mostly because my FI told ERD that there was "no rush". NO RUSH???? I didn''t breathe the entire months of June and July!!

I think the average is probably more like 4-6 weeks, but best to check with Mark and Gary.

Cannot WAIT to see the finished piece! Let me know if you have more questions...

Thanks for replying. Well initially I was reconsidering to something come comparable to your, because I am kind of bummed that the band can''t be worn with it. So either the band will become a nice RHR or I will opt for a very thin band.

Well, I''m having a wee bit of trouble finding a band myself. Seems the prongs on my ring smash right into the band and leave a gap between rings (although not that big). They just don''t sit flush.

But I just started looking, and I don''t really even know what I want yet, so I have many, many more options to check out.

Your ring is gorgeous! It will make a grand statement, with or without a band on the same finger!
