Calling all the Pregnant PS''ers

Ellaila,
You look terrific!!! How are you feeling??

Ella, you look great! Seriously!!! It''s getting so close now! How long will your DH be able to stay home?

Diver, I might break down and pray too. I just remind myself things will get better. I have fallen asleep nursing too. Someone told me there is actually a chemical which makes both baby and mom tired (to get on the same sleep cycle). It is scary though! By the way I bought some in between size jeans at Old Navy....I have never been this size before. It is seriously depressing (though DH said my face looked thinner).

oh crap...I''ll have to write more later. The monster is pissed about something...good thing she is cute.

Tacori,
Cut yourself some slack with the weight. It took 9 months to put on, it''ll take 9 months to take off. Baby C is 1 year old now and I''ve still got 5 to 10 lbs to shed. Also, you don''t want to lose the weight too quickly or your milk supply will take a deep dive. Be realistic and go for 1 lb a week.

Oh man, I love you guys -- you really know how to make me feel like a human again and not like a beached whale, which is how I see myself! Kaleigh, physically I feel pretty miserable -- very achy everywhere, heavy heavy heavy -- but mentally/emotionally, I feel great and excited

Jas, to answer your question from earlier about a cosleeper, we got one and I''m really looking forward to using it! I''ve heard great things about them, so hopefully it''ll work out well for us. The only complaint I''ve heard about them is that sometimes babies can be noisy little sleepers, so having them right next to you can be a little annoying for the parents if they''re trying to get some shuteye too. But I''ve got a friend who absolutely adores hers and swears by it. As for moods, yeah I think that all your emotions get exaggerated -- your highs are hiiiigh and your lows can be loooow.

Chrono,

for Baby C starting to take his first steps! How exciting!!

Ella-
You are all belly, and your face is just glowing.
5.gif

I swear, that is one of the smallest twin belly.
You are probably smaller than some singletons I've seen.
Once the babies come out, you'll be bounce back to your pre-pregnancy weight in no time.

So sorry to hear that Q is down with a cold. Hope it is not too bad and that he has a quick recovery.
Sending you lots of vitamin C dust to shield you from the cold bug.

Tacori-
Don't be too hard on yourself about the weight loss.
My sister had like 10 lbs of pregnancy weight on her til her son is 9 months. Then poof, those pounds and then some just melted off by the time her son was 1.

Thanks lili and chrono. I guess it is hard b/c I have always been a 2/4 (my adult life). But I just look at her and know she is worth it. We are going to Mexico when Tessa is 6 months and I *hope* to be back to normal by then. If not...oh well...

Ella, I LIKE it when Tessa is noisy (while sleeping). I find it comforting to know she is okay. She sometimes snores/snorts in her sleep. It is cute.

So I am trying to pick out my push present and a vendor told me not to get citrines in a ring (too soft) so I might be back to the pink sapphire idea. Unfortunately I think the design I want is out of the budget DH gave me
15.gif
I might see if it can be an x-mas gift too to increase the budget...

How do Stuller settings work? (they are often cheaper right?)

Stuller settings are much cheaper but require a lot of finishing by the jeweller to look polished.

Tacori,
You don't have to stick with pink sapphires. Why not reds? There's ruby, spinel (pink and red), rubellite, pink toumaline, etc.

Oh....I wish I could find what I want ready made....

Oh my...all this baby goodness! I love these photos! So much that I went and bought a camera yesterday so I can make sure to get lots of happy snaps of my own come spring. Your dolls are just SOOOOOOOOOO cute!

Ella, I love your belly shots. You look glowing. Truly, no lie.
36.gif

And the twins sound like the are beefin'' up nicely...hooray! I hope your DH feels better soon.

I don''t think I look cute with my baby "bump" because it looks bigger than a bump to me. But I am fine with having it because I think now at least I can pass for preggo. I hated the fat stage where I would just stand and put my hand on my belly and TRY to look pregnant. Hehehe. I''ll take a belly shot next week with my new camera. Gosh, am I really 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow? I remember when Tacori and Ella were there...and now....wow....

Lili, I''ll get the earrings tomorrow...I hope. I''ve been a VERY good girl with not peeking, so I think Santa needs to shoot me over some more bling. Hahaha. How are you feeling?

Diver, I love ya...you are such a "mom" and I love all the advice you give.

Jake''s room is fab!

Jas, aren''t we just dorks?
3.gif
I was just so entertained by the fact that something "in there" could make something "out here" move. Totally fascinated by it. TGuy thinks I''m an idiot, but I guess I do look questionable sitting on the couch staring at my exposed belly and giving a good guffaw here and there. The possibilities are endless. After chenille fringe comes dimes, quarters, chocolate chip cookies, cordless phones, whatever!

Hee, for me, it was the remote control for the TV -- I would just watch it bounce around my belly

I don''t think there''s anything better than feeling your baby kicking inside of you! It''s so reassuring to know that he/she/they are doing OK in there, and it''s just really cute to boot. Both of mine get the hiccups now (him much more often than her), and though it gets annoying after a few minutes, I can''t help but love it!

Funny, Tacori, I was just thinking yesterday about whether or not you got a push present! (Can you tell I''ve got too much time on my hands now that I''m home all day?!) Remind me again what it is that you want ... ? I''d still love that rolling ring with three bands -- one with pink sapphs (for K), one with blue sapphs (for G), and one just solid gold (for Q) -- but I think it''s probably not really within our budget either at the time. Oh well. I''ve been patient for nine months already waiting for these kiddies, I can wait a while longer for the ring!

Oh, and I know how bad I feel with the size clothes I''m in now so I can relate but Tacori, just remember that the weight was put on for a good reason, and it WILL come off! I know a lot of people who actually get thinner POST babies than they were PRE babies! But it won''t happen overnight, so don''t beat yourself up over it. You''re a new mommy to a beautiful healthy baby, and no jean size can take away the beauty of that!!

And yes, I agree with TGal about the mommy advice -- I love it all! Keep it comin'', ladies!

ella, you just look great...all babies and all belly...

tacori, don''t worry, your weight will come off, do be patient with yourself.

Ella, you look adorable!!! Hey, I love the kitchen too; looks fab! I kinda hope the baby's are born on the 16th! Who wouldn't love having some adorable sweet twins sharing their birthday w/ya

Sending good wishes for not getting sick and a speedy recovery to your sweet hubby!

ella - you looks fabulous.

I never followed this thread before, but I am going to start. I got a + HPT yesterday and went in for a blood test to confirm. We are still waiting for the blood test to come back. We are really excited because we''ve been trying for a year. I am crossing my fingers that the test come back positive.

Oh, best of luck, Q!!!! That''s so exciting!!! Keep us posted!!!

TGal-
Love that head-banging stickman with the santa hat! Too funny.
9.gif

That's great you get your earrings soon. Hope you can show them off along with your belly pictures!
Anyway, I'm feeling great. Thanks for asking. Loving this second trimester, especially the baby movement.
It's so fun. I love it when she's doing her flip and somersault. Feels like something rolling and kneading in there
9.gif

One thing I'm not liking about this trimester is the bloated feeling I get after a big meal.
The fact that my digestion is alot slower now is not helping either.
I swear my belly looks 2 months different after a big meal. Very uncomfortable if I should say so.

MrsS-
Love your doggy with the santa hat
1.gif

Did your girls get to feel the baby move too?
My nieces kept wanting to put their hands on my belly to feel the baby move.
Unfortunately, the baby was playing hide and seek with them
