ok guys, first and foremost I would like to thank each and everyone of you who have answered all my questions. I have finalized the ring setting. Last thing I need is to finalize the stone. Need final opinion between the 2 - both are 1 ct, F, VS2:

. Table %: 56.5
. Crown Angle: 34.8
. Crown %: 15.1
. Star : 56
. Pavilion Angle: 40.7
. Pavilion %: 42.9
. Lower Girdle %: 76
. Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick Faceted
. Measurements: 6.41-6.44X3.98
. Light Performance: 0
. Polish: Ideal
. Symmetry: Ideal
. Culet: Pointed
. Fluorescence: Negligible

Stone 2:

Fluorescence: Negligible
Girdle: 1.78%
Culet: None
Width: 6.43mm
Length: 6.45mm
Depth: 3.98mm
Table Percentage: 56.92%
Depth Percentage: 61.73%
Crown Ú: 34.32‹
Crown Depth: 14.69%
Pavilion Ú: 40.98‹
Pavilion Depth: 43.29%
Upper Girdle Ú: 43.97‹
Lower Girdle Ú: 42.12‹

Which one (need to purchase today)????????

I think they both look great. Have you seen them in person? Which is cheaper?

They''re probably both fine, but do you have links to them?

Either one seems like a fine choice, so.....

Armed only with the info listed, I''d choose #1. It''s earned the AGS0 grade and has the AGS grading report, which I value more.

Here is the link to both...today is my last day to make a decision. When I run the WF to a Atlas Calculator it comes out as 1B Type but the GOG comes up as Type A assuming I entered the GOG girdle correctly. I dont know what the girdle % relate to a matching girdle description. I also wonder why WF does not provide as much info on their stone as GOG does.

GOG link:

Thoughts?? Comments???

No expert but...

I vote #1.. the PA looks better.

Either will be beautiful though.

The PA comes out as Type 2 in the Atlas Calc for the WF

I wonder why almost the other diamond vendors do not give as much info as GOG and WF

How much info do you need?

There is nothing much wrong with either stone. Although the GIA graded stone has been slightly dug out, so it might look ever so slightly smaller - you can see it in the weaker ideal-scope xray images.

Gary, I need as much information as you can provide...right now both stones meet my budget so I that is not a concern...I just want to know which one of the 2 is superior...you are an expert, if you were to pick between either one, which one would you choose???

And oh yeah is the girdle spec on the WF stone a concern??

1.9% is not that thin.
You have my opinions already

I meant to say "almost all"
Of course Infinity diamonds and their vendors are in the "all" list

So which did you pick?

I was going to go with GOG but based on Gary''s comment I will be purchasing from WF.

WHICH SETTING DID YOU PICK????

I would pick the second one, but what is going on with the diamonds inbetween the prongs?

I don''t care for that myself, kinda strange...but that''s just me.

It''s so hard to say, Jilted Gen. People feel so strongly about their likes and dislikes in jewelry. It''s intensely personal.

I feel that both are lovely and whichever YOU feel will suit your girlfriend best - personality, style etc, is the one you should go with.

Let us know which one you decide on ... I really think you''ve done a good job!

Nope, I don''t think you can go wrong there. I''d choose the first one if you were polling for opinions. I like to see more of the diamond, and it''s very feminine. Plus I like the 2 sidestones adding more bling.

if you are narrowing it down to 2 and it''s between a solitaire and a 3-stone I''d go with the ritani endless love solitaire, no halo as my first pic. Some girls do not want 3 stones as an e-ring, they think of it more of an anniversary ring so you''d really have to find out if you gal would like/want a 3-stone. the pics of the ritani endless love on websites do not do it justice at all but a few gals own it here. here''s a picture of it and the ring belongs to Mara''s friend;
