Leave it to my daughter to pick a halston dress for her 8th grade semiformal.

I ended up scoring it brand new on poshmark for $48!!! It does have to be taken in a bit, but no biggie. It's peach and coral chiffon. She will be wearing gold strappy high heeled sandals and her hair up. I am stumped on earrings. My fashion-forward friend has said to do large, bold gold earrings or warm sparkly earrings in a green color.

Any suggestions? Looking for costume jewelry, so try to resist the urge to go full PS on me.

To me the JCrew mint dangles and green tassels (tassels were big the last few years) and the drops Matata posted are the best of the bunch. The brighter dangles and the circles read to me as more casual, I'd use them for glitzing up summer jeans/tee/sundress outfit.

The true answer is whatever makes her feel most beautiful, but I appreciate you're paring the list down

The green tassels are probably the most up-to-date. I have them in gold and wore them for the holidays. They're fun to wear!

My vote goes to the green tassle dangle earrings - the vibrant green will really complement the dress and the dangly nature of the earrings will add movement and drama ... such a pretty dress and your daughter wears it so well!
