Hi PS buddies....I have found another diamond that may be "IT"

. Gosh these little buggers are EXPENSIVE! LOL!!!

I am hoping that you all will look at all of the ABUNDANCE of information that GOG provides, and analyze it as if you were going to buy it yourself! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! If this is "the one" I have to convince my BF that it is worth the additional $$ and that it is WELL WORTH IT to go up in clarity and cut...and a little in size too!?!? (for me!

Looks great. The only minor drawback is the depth of 62.79% which is making the diameter a bit smaller than other 1.75 carat diamonds.

Hi Ladies, thanks for all of the responses! In case you did not see my post earlier in the week, I am actually researching and shopping for my own diamond.... because my BF is too OVERWHELMED by all of it. Needless to say, it is easy to inch up to bigger and more expensive diamonds, especially when it is with someone else''s money!!! I have been asking for feedback on the diamonds, before, telling him what I have found. Not wanting to frustrate him with too many choices. So, today, I told him I found this one...and then the price...he told me kindly that was quite a stretch!!

I think we are back down in the $12-13,000 range again. I never thought 1.5CT would NOT be big enough.....and then I see the 1.75!! Oh well! He gave me a reality check and I am once again searching for my perfect diamond.

Shel, I had eyeballed the diamond you suggested. There was no online cert, so I just emailed Charles at GOG to have him send it to me. I will let you know what it reveals.

I am sure that stone has been suggested in a few other threads, so if you are seriously thinking about it, give then a call to reserve it asap, and you can still make a final decision.

It is an AGS0 and an Isee2 so my hunch is it will be a stunner

Bobbi, I promise we aren't tired of you! Some of us are hooked on the forum but can't keep buying more diamonds! So it is fun to help someone else!

That is a terrific stone and I would buy it myself. In fact, it is very close to the stone we did buy for a new e-ring for our anniversary from GOG(1.63 H VS1).

It makes me a little nervous for it to be Saturday evening with GOG closed and others may be lurking here looking for stone recommendations. If you think you want them to hold this stone for you, I'd go ahead and and reserve it. This is a very clean looking VS2 and it is certainly beautifully cut! In fact, I'd choose it over the 1.6 stone since it is just about the same diameter!

I would buy it for my wifey2b if I was in the market for that sized stone.

If you do love it you can put a temp hold on it by hitting the reserve diamond button I would also email them for good measure and give them a call in the morning

I agree with all of the above except they are closed on Sunday and Monday. But I''d do what Dee said and reserve and email.
