I don''t like #1 at all for a wedding, it looks more like a party cake for a birthday or something...its cute though...#2 is my favorite, I adore those flowers and it seems perfect for a garden wedding! I also like the third but am not a fan of yellow at all, and I really like #4 as well. So I''d say #2 first then #4 for it''s simplicity. I also think that #4 would look fab without the dots of frosting, just smooth fondant and the wide ribbon and then maybe fresh flowers on top in green would be sweet.
I LOVE cakes, there are so many great ideas out there!
#2 is my favorite too. I don't like the idea of yellow icing (it creeps me out) so if we were going to go with #3, it'd probably be white or pink, with white or green swirls. I like the simplicity of #3 and #4, so they'll come in handy if our baker wants $5.00 a slice for #2.
Here I am looking at cakes, and I don't even have a color scheme for this garden wedding! I've been planning a beach wedding up until very recently. Maybe pink & green? I love those colors together.
I voted #2 (butterflies are a cute touch), but I like #3 equally, but obviously NOT yellow icing. If #3 was done with white icing and your colors for the flowers, I think it is quite classic looking. To me, #4 is too plain. A garden wedding deserves something with flowers on it.
