Love the second one! (still haven't watched the first) I love Catherine Tate, and the whole thing is just...funny.

I farking LOVE Eddie Izzard too!!! Both for his standup and his fantastic acting. Red, I loved him in The Riches.

I think it was not what I was expecting, maybe that was it. I do LOVE him and have dvds that I watch regularly.

Sorry, I'd never heard of Izzard before now.
I watched a few performance on Youtube just now, and this comedian didn't really tickle my funny bone.

Honestly, my favorite comedian, by a long shot, is Louis C K.
Next would probably be the late George Carlin.

I really like smart, yet surprisingly surprising, observations of what's been right in front of us all along ... the obvious that we somehow never see.
I also get a kick out of over the top absurd humor like Benny Hill & Monty Python.
I enjoy some of SNL and MadTV.
