LiW Buying the diamond!

We finally settled on a diamond. Its sooo pretty! My SO saw it and really liked it. Its a .94 F VS1 Canadia Diamond.

I wanted to get my diamond from Mark at engagementringsdirect (he was very nice), but my SO fell in love with the fact that this had a maple leaf engraved on it

We are getting it set in a Harry-Winston-like Micro Pave Setting

Shertz1981 My SO has this thing about diamonds. He wanted to make sure the diamond was sustainably mined and didn''t come from an area of conflict. Not sure how much of it is marketing and how much of it is actually true, but he researched it and decided he wanted to only buy Canadian. Hence, the maple leaf inscribed on it

The best part about this diamond? It was cut in between our birthdays! (when he was going to propose, but didn''t!) How''s that for fate?!
