Buying Cartier Trinity ring

Hello,
I would like to buy a trinity ring (plain gold) from cartier but I''ve never dealt with Cartier before. I was told that I could ask for some discount but I don''t know if it is true and if it is what question to ask. Could you please help me? Thanks.

Usually for high end retailers, discounts apply on the more "expensive" items like a large solitaire, but it never hurts to ask if they offer discounts. I hear Cartier sometimes has sales now.

Ditto. You might not be able to get a discount on a trinity ring, but if you''d like you could ask "is this the best price available"? Also, if price is really a concern and the Cartier name isn''t a primary factor, those types of rings can be found elsewhere too.
