Scores well on the cut advisor (1.1). Have you confirmed it''s eye clean?

It looks promising! Have you seen the diamond, or could you get an Idealscope image for it? Is it available through an online vendor? It is a large stone, is it eyeclean, have you checked? I take it the stone has a GIA report?

Hi ahdny,

It''s definitely got potential. I have a feeling I know where it''s from, and therefore know any other info isn''t available. I think it''s worth bringing home for an independant appraiser to have a look at!

Ok, if that is the case, then could well be!

I believe so, if my assumptions are correct.

It''s priced in the same range as G SI1 3 to 3.08 carat stones. What are your thoughts on going with the G 3.0-3.08 range versus the F 2.85?

Yes that is a GREAT price.

I would want to know just how much the price difference is, and the diameter difference, to really tell. If you can post those (and preferably all the specs), I''ll throw in my 2 pennies.

If you could post the proportions of the G SI1 and prices, then we can compare both, but if the cut is also good, then a G could still be an excellent choice and get you over the 3 ct mark!
