PS Friends,

We need to purchase my future husband's wedding band. He would like a palladium band -- something simple. We are considering buying it online at either Blue Nile or another reputable place. (My ering and band is from BGD). I feel there seems to be less "consideration" when buying a men's band --- is that so? In other words, do you think the quality of a men's palladium band purchased at Blue Nile vs. purchased at BGD or any other reputable online merchants is different? The price of the band at Blue Nile is half the price that I've been quoted at the other places.

Thanks for any input!

HIGHLY Recommend you check out eweddingbands.com. They have great prices and I personally think a better selection over BN. We got my DH's wedding band from them and he loves it. Plus they do 2 day ship and free returns for 30 days (at least they did).

I don't think less consideration goes into a men's wedding band I just think men are typically less flashy so they want something simple and understated. My DH wanted something very specific- two tone ring in tungsten with beveled edge at 7mm. You would think it would be an easy ring to find. Anyhow I liked that he took an interest in his band but because no diamonds were involved it was a lot less work then my/ your ring obviously.

EDIT: and no I don't think quality will be different but I think styles will be. Some men like diamonds in their band, flash and design. Others don't. With all things said I think most men's wedding bands are pretty straight forward so if you future DH doesn't want anything extreme it shouldn't matter where you get it from.

Hope that helps!
