Buyers Remorse: Please Help Me Choose Princess Cut!

I'm second guessing my purchase. I purchased an A Cut Above diamond from Whiteflash and now I stumbled across diamond #2 which also is an AGS0. I feel like the second diamond is a much better diamond, especially for the price. What are your thoughts?

if they are both AGS0 then they will probably be great stones, so it just depends what you prefer visually.

If you've not yet had the stone sent to you ask WF their opioion on the two stones.

Well, stone 1 averages about an extra 0.1 mm in dimension, so you would be giving up some size, but I do like the ASET of #2 a little better. I don't think there is a clear right choice.

The Ideal-scope of the first stone looks better than the ASET (photography might be the problem, not the stone). I am guessing if they are ACA's, they are both very nice. You might want to ask WF to compare the 2. When it comes to Princess Cut, I prefer higher color.

But I could not find the second one on the WF website.

I believe that Stone #2 is from Blue Nile.

The second stone is smaller. I wouldn't even consider it. The ACA is going to be gorgeous. If the sizes were the same, then I'd probably take the higher color/clarity one. But it is probably priced that way because it must be deeper and it makes it face up smaller. And you don't want to pay for a 1 ct. stone that faces up smaller.

Now get over the buyer's remorse and be happy you chose a great stone! (And stop looking at diamonds!!!)

You can't go wrong with either. I wouldn't say the second ASET is necessarily better than the first, especially considering they're both computer-generated images and may not represent the real thing. It looks like both are equally well-cut. Personally, I'd keep your first choice, because (1) it's larger for about the same price, and (2) it's a PITA to send a diamond back and buy a new one, especially from different vendors.
