Just a quickquestion for anyone that can help. I am pretty new to pricescope and only found while trying to do some research so when I buy my e-ring I know what I am doing (although it doesn''t seem like I know more now, if anything even more confused). But i do have the setting I want, or at least I know what it is, just haven''t bought it yet. Link here...Scott Kay Ring.
At first I was just thinking of getting the diamond with the setting, seemed easier than trying to find a diamond else where. But then after reading so much on here it seems I can save quite a bit of money if I get the stone online. I believe the setting itself is around $2500 in WG and about $4000 in Platinum. I am leaning towards Plat. but WG will work as well if I get a diamond that is more expensive. I would like to stay below $8000.
Would it be wiser to buy the stone seperately online? I live in Southern California and there is the Tustin DIamond Exchange that has commercials on TV and they advertise diamonds pretty cheap compared to what I was expcting. Has anyone ever tried a place such as this?
What I am looking for for the stone is near 1 ct, but that is about all I know. I was thinking no worse than a G and a VS1, but even with that I don''t know much about it to know if that is good or what.
