Our pup ate the kids’ cereal when I walked away for a millisecond. Here he is swearing on the Bible that he didn’t! If only he had gotten rid of the evidence. I needed a laugh and thought someone else could too. My kids have both gotten the flu for a second time in a month. Learned this year that you can get more than one strain in a season.

Oh my look at his face. Precious.

I am so sorry @Puppmom about both kids getting the flu twice. OMG that sucks. Sending you and them gentle hugs and healing vibes.

Sounds like a nightmare for you and the kids, hope they get better soon.

But, clever pup

What a guilty face!

What a guilty little face!

"Mom, I didn't mean to - it just jumped into my mouth..." "By the way, could I have some more?"

There are soooo many other possible explanations. ;)2

Just thank him for not having the flu and give him his own cereal.

Hope the kids are better soon.

Sorry to hear your kids have the flu...I hope they feel better real soon.

Thanks, all! I am doing my best to just remain grateful for their good overall health because not everyone is so lucky.

And Hollis is such a good boy but food is his weakness. It’s mine too so understand!

HI:

Scallywag!!:mrgreen2:

Healing vibes across the miles......

cheers--Sharon

AW, I want to kiss that guilty, crummy little nose. My dog would look exactly the same. And still get into it next time, if she could.
I hope you and the kids are all healthy again, soon and that this is the END of the flu season in your house. (and hoping it continues to skip ours, fingers crossed!)

Ohh, that face! I'd just leave the open box on the floor and walk away and let him bask in the abundance of "free" (not stolen) cereal!

I'm so sorry the kids have the flu again! Once is bad enough, but twice? Poor mama!

aw what a cutie. So sorry about the kids :(

Sharon,

I'll see your 'scallywag' and raise it one 'hooligan getting up to shenanigans'!

TOO FUNNY! :) :)

I'd like to "call brat" but it seems too harsh/in that old school vernacular? (I need an old emotie...is there one with a walker? hhehheheeeee)

OP: PuppMom--your pooch and his breakfast made my day.

cheers--Sharon

Isn’t it amazing the joy and levity these little boogers, especially the mischievous ones, can bring to our lives?

Canuk, instead of brat we tend to call him a creep when he gets in trouble. :confused2:

And when they're do darn cute, it's difficult to stay peeved for long. I have a friend who breeds savannah cats and she also owns a rescue pit bull named Bubba. Bubba is species confused, thinks he's a cat. He gets up on the kitchen counters and snoozes next to the cats; loves Nutella and raids the kitchen cabinets in search of the most holy of foods; and pretty much steals anything edible for his own pleasure. When he can't find real food, he likes to chew on shoes, backpacks, school supplies.....

Yes, thank goodness they're so cute and lovable because they can be rather destructive.

:lol:Too funny.
Imagine if our pups could talk...:liar:imagine the thinks they would say. Lol. I have a pup myself...he just warms my heart.

Flu season has been terrible this year. Hope your babies get well soon.

Both kids officially well! Phew, that was a rough go!

My poor pup had a belly ache after eating people breakfast. Seems back to normal...normal as he gets anyway. :confused2:
