I work at an outdoor/adventure store, and we've had a lot of older (60's +) couples in during the past few weeks looking for gear. I would never go. I hear it's fun, though!

A friend went... Loved it.... It didn't look like something I would like. He said it was very sandy and not many creature comforts...

On one hand, it sounds fund. But I think the realities of being there -- for me -- would make it less than enjoyable. I know tons of people that go though.
