Anyone else find the Burberry campaign unappealing? I have always liked the Burberry look, but models made to look like mannequins with extremely thin, exposed stick legs doesn't make me aspire to wear these clothes. At first, I thought the mannequin looks were stiff so that little Romeo Beckham would be even cuter by contrast in his children's ads, and I thought that was a cool concept, but now I see the adults by themselves in many ads with that same stiff plastic look. It's not that I think the models are too thin - that's a whole other discussion - it's that they're presented in a way that really accentuates how thin their legs are and makes them look like plastic.

I still like Burberry, though. What do you think of this campaign?

This is the first I've seen of the campaign ads, but I really liked the concept of the child adding some fun and bringing some 'life' to the boring adult mannequins (with the first smile towards the end). I don't imagine it would work quite as well without a child.

And I think that Romeo is going to be such a stunner when he grows up, you can already see the David Beckham in his face!

And, I like my Burberry ads full of Eddie Redmayne, who I have a not so secret crush on, so I was sad to find him missing.

I loved it. Cute how they juxtaposed the fun kid with the mannequin-like adults.

The Beckham sure have cute kids. So much personality.

I don't like the magenta; the electric blue; the chartreuse/gold. I don't like the white shoes. The clothes I like-on the child and on the male and female adult models-are the traditional Burberry tans and camel hairs and grey with white shirts. Those look elegant to me. That is what I would have thought of as, "The Burberry Look" if I had ever thought of such a thing. (That and red toggle coats. I have a Burberry red toggle coat somewhere.)

And fabulous scarves.

I love the mannequins with Romeo, but really dislike the adults by themselves, which is what I'm seeing a lot of now.

I thought it was cute! The models look normal model skinny to me.

I don't have a problem with it.

I do have a problem with their new Michigan Ave store. They tore down a gorgeous, tasteful building and replaced it with a glowing plaid box. Gag me.

I think I don't like parents pimping out their kids. ETA: I mean famous parents putting their kids in the spotlight just because they, the parents, are famous.
