They'll just aim for the head.

Helloooooo!... Gotta get rid of the guns.

Frankly, I could see wanting to send a kid to school with a bullet proof backpack if they would actually stop the bullets (but per the other thread, they won't stop some of the weaponry used). BUT, if they did work, at least it would give them some element of survival. I mean all we really have is hope and chance, so if I got my kid 25% extra coverage, I'd take it.

Re: Chance - I think someone said in another thread that the odds of dying in a mass shooting are less than dying in a car accident, so yay America, land o the free, except we aren't entirely, are we? But, it's better than N. Korea I'm sure, so yay for that too, America! (I say because I know I'm supposed to be GRATEFUL I live here.)

I'm sure we will be hearing about a company making children's bulletproof vests very soon. It will be part of the back to school sales...."don't forget to pick up a new bulletproof vest for the kids" Teachers will be instructed to let the children wear them in the classroom,
