Building the Bling--which look do you prefer?

Back in May, I received a Mother's Day/early Push Present. My bridal set was upgraded and I loved it!

The band matches the e-ring and the look is lovely, but the diamonds in the e-ring are so large, that the diamonds in the band are very much downplayed, almost to the point that they're not really seen.

I went in today for my inspection and while there, decided to try on a couple of other bands with either higher set diamonds or a different design. Something that would complement the e-ring and still work.

I ended up buying a band that I would've never bought on its own and really liked it. Now I'm trying to figure out which look is best?

I'm also toying around with the idea of buying a 2nd band that matches the one I bought today and putting it on the other side of the e-ring.

I think having all three bands overwhelms your set. I think it looks best with the new band only or the old band only. If you do a new band to sandwich your ERing it will overpower your ERing stones.

I prefer the original, it complements your ER where I think the other options overwhelm it.

I didn't vote because I didn't see an option for what I think -- I love your e-ring with EITHER wedding band, but I prefer it with only one band. Either the original or the new one, I love either look. But, for me, I prefer the look of one band and one e-ring. Stunning rings!

I like the original set best. I really don't like curved bands, and two bands is just too much since you have diamonds on both the e-ring and wedding band shanks.

Gorgeous upgrade - I actually love the new band with it! Looks like you have a polarizing set - everybody's got a different opinion. Perhaps you can alternate? Variety is, after all, the spice of life ....

I like it with the original band. I had a curved band and hated it, it never stayed in place.

I love them all! I love the curved band with your ring, I think it really ups the bling. I have several rings I switch around as my e-ring and sometimes add to my set. I love being able to do that according to how I feel that day. I don't think you have to pick one perfect look that you only wear, but wear whatever you feel like on any given day.That is the beauty of having extra bands!

Totally agree. You can switch off between your original band and your new band

Yep, that's my thought as well, which is why I'd need to have the two rings soldered.

You have the yellow gold version of what my sister has, and I vastly prefer it as it is. She wears a third band that's just a channel set that matches as far as the stones stop at the same spot on each end, but that all goes. The curved one kind of detracts too much I think.

I think that your original set is gorgeous and voted for you to keep that set! I do like the new band too though and agree with the others that suggested keeping it and switching it up! Tough call!

I love the extra bling provided by the new diamond band, but my vote goes to the original set just because I'm not a fan of curved bands...
