Brushed Yellow Gold E-ring Settings

Hi everyone,
I''ve started to consider getting a brushed yellow gold ering setting but I have some concerns about it having a modern look. I love the look of the Vera Wang''s (attached below) and was wondering if any of you have come across brushed gold ering settings/wedding sets that you love as well.

PS- one of the reasons I''m considering a yg setting is because my diamond is much warmer in color (L,M color)and I''d like to create some contrast. No, I DO want a modern look...I really like the Vera Wang in the top left corner. It''s kind of modern. Sorry my post was unclear...would you mind sharing the setting you like?

I thought I loved that tension set ring.... but, tried it on and it looked super weird on my finger. Make sure you try it on first if you like it!

YOu know I feel the same way! I love love love the look and the design... but on it looks very different. I still think it looks super-cool though! I''m almost trying to talk myself into it because I love the look of it so much.

Still gotta find the diamond first LOL!

I have a ring from www.unionstreetgoldsmith.com in San Francisco. It is from their 18K Eye Candy collection. I have now had it for six years or so, but the brushed finish only lasts for about four months when I wear it daily. The bezel has a high polish, but the shank looks like unpolished/scratched up gold. They gave me a scratchy pad, so I could retouch the surface myself as needed. I still like the ring.

Hi Mermer. It''s so funny-I just tried on that Vera Wang ring today and posted some questions over in the colored stone forum.

My cousin has a brushed yellow gold from H Stern which is beautiful. He made Athena Onassis'' wedding ring which is also brushed yellow gold (sorry no pics!)

This is my all time favorite brushed finish. I know the pic shows it in plat, however I have seen a pic of it in 18k yellow and it is divine. link
