I don''t like your spa, Sharon. Last time I was there, I was doing this little thing called LABOUR! Yikes.

My spa is much nicer. A little massage, mani and pedi at Stillwater (my fav in the City).

Keep warm!

HI:

I''ll have to try that one next time.....sounds like a lot more fun than mine.

My SUV just made the weirdest noise when starting.....

Enjoy your day, too!

Sounds like you guys are in Calgary - me, too. I *so* don''t want to go out there!!

Yep, we are both Calgarians. This is not right - I was out on Saturday in a Lululemon bunnyhug (yes, bunnyhug, I will not say "hoodie") and the little man was in a light sweater. What is with this place!!!

"Bunnyhug" - I haven''t heard that before! I am obsessed with Lulu and with their bunnyhugs.

Yep - crazy winter weather. I guess we''ve been reasonably lucky so far this winter, but still... beh! Keep warm!!

You have never heard the word "bunnyhug" before. OMG, hyperventilating!

I live in Ontario, and the reason I LIVE here (even though it gets WAY too cold at times), is because of the 4 different seasons we get. I love summer, but by the end of it, I am so looking forward to seeing the leaves change, fall is so pretty. Then the snow, and sliding with the kids, snowmobiling, and ice skating..those are all of the fun things that others who don''t have true winters, MISS! My best friend moved to California, and she misses being able to do those things with the kids. I mean, being in the pool 365 days a year would get pretty boring...I NEED CHANGE!! LOL
Aslo, Canada has some VERY beautiful provinces, and I know when I talk to some Americans who come here to spend time on Manitoulin Island, or in the mountains out west, they are always in awe at what a beautiful, clean, picturesque country we have! We pay alot in taxes, but our health care doesn''t cost us! Those are some of the reasons I am proud and honored to be a Canadian!

I agree, Beau. Canada rocks!!!!
30.gif

I know Bem, it does get cold at times, trust me (who just spent an entire weekend in an arena, butt frozen to the bench, watching 10 games in 3 days!). BUT, watching my boys play hockey is what makes winter and the cold that much more bearable! I look forward to getting away somewhere hot, but again, by the end of the week, I am thanking my lucky stars I don''t live there (hot, tropical paradise), and want to kiss the ground when I land again, on Canadian soil! I can''t imagine living anywhere else. There are many beautiful countries to visit and enjoy, and it is great to visit them, but to LIVE?? In my mind, nothing compares to THIS amazing country! Just think Bem..it almost Feb 1st, I think winter flew by, and pretty soon, the sound of birds chirping, and the smell of dog doo-doo, which has been covered by snow, will fill the air! LOL

Beau - how cold is it in Ontario this week????

Not as cold last week, right now it's about - 8, but last week, it was anywhere from -28 to -38 with the windchill. VERY chilly, today seems much milder! Haven't ventured outside yet today..damn stomach flu! I am going by what the weather channel is reporting.

It''s an itsy bit warmer in Qc, but we did have some -20s last week. This week is pretty warm though at around 0. Sending warm cocoa to my fellow Canadians!

But the Uggs are so cute!! They are one of the only good things about this weather!
