One of my pet projects is a pair of briolette diamond dangles. The problem is that they don''t seem to exist, except for badly cut, low quality diamonds aimed towards crafters! I have only seen these stones in antiques, and even so they are very hard to find.

Anyone know of a vendor? Or some eye candy to reassure me?

Sorry - I posted this in the wrong forum (note to self: do not have multiple PS pages open. It leads to confusion...). It should be in Rocky Talky but how can I move it?

(newbies can be such a pain...)

I wish i could help you find a source for a diamond of this cut...but i can reassure you the they are out there ...a few years back there was a solid trend where this cut was popular in earring and fringe necklaces. You mught have to have one specially cut.Good Luck and i will keep my eyes open for you.

As always, I miss the trend. Oh well, I guess I''m not cut out to be a fashionista

But I do like a dangly briolette!

I''d start by calling two people:

Mark at Engagement Rings Direct. My thought with calling Mark is that #1 he''s great. And #2 he is in the diamond district and seems to be able to get anything. So if they are out there he might be able to help.

Wink at Winfields. Same first reason as calling Mark, and the second is that he seems to have sources for all kinds of odd things not to mention relationships with cutters.

Good luck!

There is a seller on ebay that has some decent clarity ones, just have to search ;)
