Having fun with the spices thread. Tonight I made a big pot of southern style chicken and dumplings. As we say in the south, I wonder what would would be a "down home" comfort food for you? Pictures are great if you have them!
I love to see what other people eat, how you cook where you live.
Tonight's dinner probably looks questionable
, but it tastes pretty good. Savory stew with carrots onions and celery, chicken breast, broth, heavy cream and fluffy dumplings that drop in and rise to be light. Seasoned with sage, thyme, rosemary, garlic and other aromatics.
