Hi everyone,
I have been keeping my fiancé desperately waiting for her engagement ring since we got engaged but did not realise the depth of knowledge required to select a great cushion cut diamond.
Several months later and a lot of time spent on this forum, youtube videos, websites, etc I think I have enough knowledge up my sleeve to make a semi-educated guess when choosing a (hopefully) beautiful cushion.
I am wondering if the more knowledgeable PS'ers than I (which is probably all of you!) can help me narrow it down from the 4 I have chosen.
We are looking for a cushion brilliant, and I have taken a liking to 8 pav main style cut, but do not know what characteristics lead to great light performance in these fancy cut stones while staying away from the well known 'crushed ice' appearance.
I know without actually looking at the stone in the flesh it is impossible to say definitely how it performs, however my merchant wants to charge a fee to import the stone and do the ASET/microscopic photography so I would like to narrow it down to at least 2 before I start spending money on this process so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
The 4 options I have placed in order from lowest to highest cost.

And yes the VVS1 is more expensive than the IF.. I don't get that but anyway! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
