Hi, I notice on alot of brilliancescope light view pictures there is either predominantly blue or predominantly yellow colour. Why is that?

Are there diamonds that show strong blue and yellow in different light views?

i would guess that it is due to the lighitng schematic used.

Which images of B Scope are you referring to ? The Color return images or the fire images?

I''ve seen a ton of them, and while many stones do show yellow and blue, many show red, green and orange colors too.

It is a good comparison tool, because every image of each stone is in the same 6 six environments.

The images are "seen" by a camera, and captured the same for each stone.

The B Scope doesn''t care what you put inside it. It just digitally captures whatever is put in it.

Those of us who have the B Scope analyzer also have acess to what percentages of each color it "sees".

Exceptional cut stones have a tad more green and orange/red in them.

The B Scope Viewer which permits the eye to see the stone is a good advantage because it is seen by actual eye rather than digitally captured.

thanks for the detailed explanation. Light views 2 & 4 usually have the same colour and light view 3 is of another colour. 2 & 4 are usually blue while 3 is yellow
