Bridesmaid Gifts Arrived!

Wow,
40 days until wedding day!
First day of my actual summer vacation, AND my bridesmaid gifts arrived today!

Here''s the story: I worried about this for a while, but finally decided on gettting them something that was
unique to the Virgin Islands. The bracelets are made on St. Croix and the hook is a symbol of luck.
If you wear the hook facing you, then you want luck to come your way. If you wear it facing out, you are
spreading your good luck to others. NOte that I am wearing it facing me, I need all the luck I can get.

I love them because they are basic, unique to our wedding location, and not too delicate. My bridesmaids and
I all met playing sports (the toenail tragedy, competetive sports are a HUGE part of my life.) Not to say that they''re not feminine, just a little rough and tumble

!

Can''t seem to take a photo without my codependent Penny in it. Oh, how I hate to post pictures of my "artistic"
hands. Why am I so veiny?

Tybee, I just LOVE your BM gifts!!!! Seriously, I can''t say enough! I love giving and getting jewelry as BM gifts. Yours is so awesome because of the meaning and because it''s unique to your wedding locale. I love them!!!

I LOVE the hook bracelets from St. John... people always ask about it because it''s unique... and then I get to talk about my most favorite place in the world! And when you spot one on somebody else, you kind of feel like you''re in on a secret together...

Tybee, I think your hands look great! I really do. Mine are kind of veiny too I think.
