Wedding Bridal Necklace!

I''ve been thinking about the same pendant since I saw it when I stopped in to my favorite vintage/antique jewelry shop. That was in the summer. I had even started looking to see if I could find a similar stone to re-create the look, since I was sure it couldn''t still be there. It turns out someone had put it on layaway, and had even come back to make all the payments, but on their last visit they saw something new that they liked better and traded. So it was still there! And I bought it! Check another thing off the list.
It is a big step-cut citrine with a single finger pearl dangling underneath. It is on a fine 14K chain in a really open gold setting. I wish the prongs were prettier, but I guess they need to hold the thing in place!
I think the cut gives it a deco look that is appropriate for the vintage-ness of my dress, and now that I am sure that my flowers will have lots of orangey tones, it seemed like the right look. It''s definitely not for everyone, but I think it will be just right for me. Plus I will definitely wear it again! I will probably just wear pearl studs. I have small ones, but I might borrow slightly bigger ones from my mom or grandma.
Now I''m just waiting for the camera batteries to recharge so I can take some pictures.

I had a hard time capturing it, esp. b/c it is night and I don''t have any natural light to work with. This came out slightly more orangey than it is in person.

Thanks! I think it is an 18" chain -- it hits about an inch below my collarbone. No neck shots yet -- it is a turtleneck day for me today. I hope to have some soon!
